Australian Government has a very sophisticated skilled visa program which allows thousands of skilled migrants to call Australia Home. One of the main eligibility criteria is that the applicant must have a valid positive skill assessment certificate issued by relevant skill assessment body. It is important to understand the qualification and experience requirements of the assessment body. Your qualification must be equivalent to the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) level and work experience must be at the skill level of the nominated occupation.
